BIOGRAPHY

Steven Baker always wrote. Like most youths, it was mostly shit. So it makes sense that Steven would eventually end up writing about shit. And balls. And sex. And rejection. And on some occasions, bestiality. What's truly sad is that it took him six years at Brooklyn College, where he graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing, to accomplish this.

At Brooklyn College Steven helped to bring together many talented poets, writers and artists by heading up Riverrun — BC's Journal of Arts. Later he would use those skills for a whole nine months when he acted as Editor of Vibe Magazines' Say Word poetry competition while managing their Production Department. Steven has a horribly huge list of truly awe-inspiring accomplishments. Only one of which anyone reading this bio would actually care about; Steven helped found Brokeland, which would eventually spawn The Word Party.
